In autumn 2019 the FWSA will relaunch its website with a range of new features and initiatives. The new website will become a safe hub for conversation amongst and the exchange of ideas between feminist scholars, activists, and other interested parties. As part of this aim, we will be reviving the blog section of the current website. We are therefore seeking contributions of blogposts to be published as part of the website launch and on an ongoing basis thereafter.

We welcome blog posts in the form of essays, reviews, and opinion pieces responses to media articles, photography and art work on any aspect of feminism (broadly defined) and gender. While we remain particularly committed to previously unpublished work, we are open to reproducing work published elsewhere. If your submission has been published elsewhere and would like to republish with us, please include all relevant publication information when sending in your submission.

Event reports or reviews should be 500-700 words in length. Opinion pieces or blog posts on your research may be up to 1,500 words in length. Should you wish to write a longer piece, please discuss this with Communications Officers.
